before I saw these photos, I was a little concerned with the uniform. But now that I’ve seen these pictures, I’m really concerned.

“Dark Tower” series coming to TV….and movies?

I’ve never heard of anything like this before, but I guess Ron Howard’s team are going to develop Stephen King’s Dark Tower series for TV and a trilogy of movies that will tell the story simultaneously on both.

IF they aren’t repeating the story between the two and they time the releases correctly, I think this could work. Make sure the DVD of the movie comes out before season 1 starts (so people that miss it in the theater can still watch it) and put the season 1 of the show out on DVD with enough time to watch it before the second movie comes out, etc.

I’ve heard good things about this series, so I’m excited to see it make it to screen and I’m really interested to see if this movie/tv hybrid will work.

The Walking Dead Season 2 Greenlit

The first episode of the first season doesn’t air until the end of October and AMC has already greenlit a second season (this time 13 episodes instead of the first season’s six). Definitely a vote of confidence from AMC and good news all around.

Gilliam sights Quixote, yet again.

Terry Gilliam and Don Quixote are like oil and water and if you are not sure what I am talking about, check out the documentary “Lost in La Mancha” to get a glimpse at the beginning of his problems with this concept.
