“Dark Tower” series coming to TV….and movies?
Posted by Todd on Sep 9, 2010 in Movie News, Twitter Feed • No commentsI’ve never heard of anything like this before, but I guess Ron Howard’s team are going to develop Stephen King’s Dark Tower series for TV and a trilogy of movies that will tell the story simultaneously on both.
IF they aren’t repeating the story between the two and they time the releases correctly, I think this could work. Make sure the DVD of the movie comes out before season 1 starts (so people that miss it in the theater can still watch it) and put the season 1 of the show out on DVD with enough time to watch it before the second movie comes out, etc.
I’ve heard good things about this series, so I’m excited to see it make it to screen and I’m really interested to see if this movie/tv hybrid will work.
