Nation’s Pride – Trailer

I have to be honest, I am not exactly sure how I feel about this move, but I do concede to the fact that it took some serious guts to make this film. This movie proclaims to be the story of Germany’s most celebrated hero, a sniper during World War II, who – seemingly unapologetically – fights for the Nazi army.

Given the time that has passed, as Todd said in an earlier conversation, I suppose this was due to happen, but surely a movie like this is not going to be able to show without some sort of controversy. Below is the link to the trailer, which does not seem to push any sort of agenda outside of a lone soldier fighting for his nation. In a sense it could be any soldier from any nation, doing what is expected of him. The difference is that this time, he is on the Nazi side and he is clearly made out to be the protagonist.

I am interested to learn a bit more about this film, because information out there is little, IMDb won’t even list it on its database.
