Call of Duty: The Movie Is Planned

The Call of Duty series has 5 releases so far and no end in sight. Will it make a good movie though? The story lines in the game typically follow multiple soldiers from multiple countries through a series of skirmishes. There have been games set in WWII, Vietnam, and Modern day. The story line of the games aren’t strong enough to carry as a movie (parts of Call of Duty II seemed completely ripped from Saving Private Ryan and Enemy at the Gate), but if come up with a fresh story, a good war movie and throw in some scenes/locations from the games to get the gamers giddy, I think it could be great.
